MavenMag launched its first site in Philadelphia in June of 2007.  The concept is the brainchild of Laura M. Rossi who created the site in response to her own frustration over a lack of quality local information on all that young professional women seek when they enter the work world, move to a new city, or move into the next phases of their lives after college such as: graduate school, marriage, children and more.

The audience for MavenMag Philadelphia consists primarily of busy, young, social and stylish professionals.  Most readers are GenX and Millennial age women in the Philadelphia area.  Heavy concentrations of readers can be found in Center City Philadelphia and the immediate surrounding city neighborhoods as well as the Main Line and surrounding western suburban towns.
